These Terms of Use and Service ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the Midvash platform, available at midvash.com, and apply to all users ("You" or "User") who access or use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Midvash, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. Description of Service

Midvash provides free access to the Holy Bible in multiple versions and translations, along with search, comparison, note-taking, and highlighting features. The platform is intended exclusively for personal, devotional, and study purposes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Midvash. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the platform.

4. Registration and Third-Party Authentication

4.1. You may create or access your Midvash account using your email address or through third-party services, such as Google or Facebook.

4.2. By authenticating through a third-party service, you acknowledge and agree that Midvash will collect basic profile information (name, email, and user ID) necessary for account identification and data synchronization, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4.3. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and third-party accounts. Midvash is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your login information, nor for security failures or data breaches originating from third-party platforms.

4.4. If you revoke Midvash's access to your third-party account, you may lose access to your Midvash account or experience interruptions in data synchronization. However, data previously saved on our servers will remain stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. The biblical content made available through Midvash is provided in accordance with the licensing and public use rights applicable to each translation. Midvash does not claim ownership of public domain biblical texts.

5.2. The software, user interface, design, branding, and source code of Midvash are the exclusive property of its developer and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. No part of the platform may be reproduced, modified, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

6. User Conduct

By using Midvash, you agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal, unauthorized, or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to interfere with the platform's operation, access other users' accounts, or compromise system security.
  • Copy, reproduce, scrape, or distribute the platform's proprietary content, except for the customary sharing of individual Bible verses.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes upon the rights of third parties.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the platform without prior authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Advertising

Midvash displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that advertisements may be displayed during your use of the service. 8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Midvash is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy and availability, we do not warrant that:

  • The biblical content is free from typographical or translation errors.
  • The platform will be compatible with all devices or browsers.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Midvash and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Midvash after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the District of Criciúma, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
