Modern Hebrew

he

The Modern Hebrew Bible (MH) brings the whole Bible, Old and New Testaments, together in Hebrew. The Old Testament is the Masoretic Hebrew text, the traditional text of the Hebrew Scriptures, printed with vowel points. The New Testament is a translation into modern Hebrew published by the Bible Society in Israel.

Who it is for

It suits Hebrew speakers in Israel and around the world, and students of Hebrew who want to read the Gospels and the letters of the apostles in the same language as the Old Testament. Reading both Testaments in Hebrew makes it easier to notice how the New Testament quotes and echoes the Hebrew Scriptures.
