Ti Biblia (ULB)
ilo
Ti Biblia is the complete Bible in Ilocano, the major language of northern Luzon in the Philippines, produced by the Door43 World Missions Community and dated 2019. Its credits page names dozens of Filipino contributors. It is a community effort from the Door43 and unfoldingWord ecosystem, which exists so that local churches can have Scripture in their own language without depending on a commercial license.
It follows the approach of the Unlocked Literal Bible (ULB): stay close to the form of the biblical text, clause by clause, keeping the order of ideas and the imagery of the original. The ULB was designed as a translator's tool, a text that shows the structure so other translations can be built from it with confidence.
That makes it valuable for Ilocano speakers who want to see what the text says with little paraphrase in between, and for anyone translating or preparing a study. The honest limit is the other side of the same coin: it can read stiff and unnatural, especially in poetry and dense argument, and it is not the Bible Ilocano churches usually read in worship. For continuous reading, keep a more fluent version beside it.
It is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0, chosen precisely so the text can circulate freely and be revised and adapted, as long as credit and the same license are kept. That is why Midvash can offer it here, complete and free.
