Quartus

Quartus appears in Romans 16:23 among those sending greetings to the recipients of Paul’s letter. He is identified as a brother.

Quartus and Tertius

They are distinct people. In Romans 16:22, Tertius identifies himself as the person who wrote the letter. Quartus sends his greeting in the following verse; Tertius’s role should not be attributed to him.
