10It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles.
Luke 24 is the resurrection chapter that turns the world upside down. It opens with women at an empty tomb, moves through a bewildering walk to Emmaus, and culminates in Jesus appearing to his gathered disciples. Luke weaves together bewilderment, recognition, and commissioning.
