Matthew 24:45-47

⁴⁵Who, thinkest thou, is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath appointed over his family, to give them meat in season.ai

⁴⁶Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come he shall find so doing.

Matthew 24 is the Olivet Discourse, Jesus’s longest prophetic sermon, delivered from the Mount of Olives overlooking the temple. It begins with the disciples marveling at the temple buildings, and Jesus startling them by predicting its complete destruction. The chapter then unfol
