Job 34:28

²⁸To cause to come in unto Him The cry of the poor, And the cry of the afflicted He heareth.

In Job 34, Elihu continues his speech, now directly addressing Job's claim that God has denied him justice. Elihu argues with escalating intensity that God, as the sovereign Judge of the earth, cannot possibly do wrong. He insists that Job's suffering must be a direct consequence of
