²³For he doesn’t need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.

In Job 34, Elihu continues his speech, now directly addressing Job's claim that God has denied him justice. Elihu argues with escalating intensity that God, as the sovereign Judge of the earth, cannot possibly do wrong. He insists that Job's suffering must be a direct consequence of
