Exodus 12:40-41

⁴⁰The people of Israel had lived in Egypt for 430 years.

⁴¹In fact, it was on the last day of the 430th year that all the Lord’s forces left the land.

Exodus 12 marks the pivotal institution of the Passover, a foundational event in Israel's history and a profound foreshadowing of Christ. God commands the Israelites to sacrifice a lamb, apply its blood to their doorposts, and eat a special meal, all to protect them from the tenth plague—the death of the firstborn.
