Zephaniah 3:14-16

¹⁴Sing, Daughter Zion; shout aloud, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem!c

¹⁵The Lord has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm.d

¹⁶On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.

Zephaniah 3 pivots from the sweeping judgment of chapters 1-2 to a surprising, tender conclusion. The chapter opens with a devastating indictment of Jerusalem's corrupt leaders and prophets, followed by a renewed declaration of coming judgment against the nations and the city itself
