Genesis 45:7

⁷But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

Genesis 45 marks the emotional climax of the Joseph narrative, as Joseph finally reveals his true identity to his brothers. Overwhelmed by emotion, Joseph assures them that God orchestrated their past actions for a greater good—to preserve life. He then instructs them to bring their father Jacob and all their households to Egypt, promising them the best of the land. The chapter concludes with the brothers returning to Canaan, bearing gifts and the astonishing news of Joseph's survival and power, bringing Jacob immense joy and renewed hope.
