Genesis 41:51-52

⁵¹Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh (Forget), saying, "God made me forget all my hardships and my parental home."

⁵²He named his second son Ephraim (Double Prosperity), saying, "God has prospered me in the land of my sorrow."

In **Genesis 41**, Joseph's long imprisonment ends dramatically when Pharaoh experiences two troubling dreams. Joseph, through divine revelation, interprets these dreams as seven years of abundance followed by seven years of severe famine. Impressed by Joseph's wisdom and the Spirit of God evident in him, Pharaoh elevates Joseph to the second-highest position in Egypt, entrusting him with the management of the impending crisis.
