Isaia 62 è un capitolo di intensa intercessione e promessa. Il profeta, posto come sentinella, non tace finché Gerusalemme non diventi una lode sulla terra. Dio stesso giura di non darle più tregua finché la sua giustizia non risplenda come l'alba. La città riceve un nome nuovo:
