John 14:2-3

²In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?b

³And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.c

John 14 is Jesus’s farewell discourse to his disciples on the night before his crucifixion. He comforts them with the promise of his Father’s house with many rooms, declares himself the only way to the Father, and promises the coming of the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete. The chapter pi
