35and they were telling the things in the way, and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread,
Luke 24 is the resurrection chapter that turns the world upside down. It opens with women at an empty tomb, moves through a bewildering walk to Emmaus, and culminates in Jesus appearing to his gathered disciples. Luke weaves together bewilderment, recognition, and commissioning.
