Psalms 17:2

²Let my sentence come out of your presence. Let your eyes look on equity.

Psalm 17 is a prayer of David, a cry for vindication and protection from enemies who surround him. The psalm moves from an appeal to God's justice, based on David's own integrity, to a plea for deliverance, and finally to a confident hope in God's presence. It is a lament that leans
