Luke 10:22

²²Turning to the disciples, he said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”l

Luke 10 pivots from the mission of the seventy-two to the defining question of eternal life. Jesus sends out disciples with urgency and vulnerability, then receives them back with joy. The chapter’s centerpiece is the parable of the Good Samaritan, which redefines “neighbor” beyond
