Isaiah 7:4

⁴Tell him, ‘Be careful, and keep calm. Don’t be afraid, neither let your heart be faint because of these two tails of smoking torches, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.a

Isaiah 7 is a hinge chapter in the book of Isaiah, set during the Syro-Ephraimite crisis when Judah faces invasion from Israel and Syria. King Ahaz trembles in fear, but the prophet Isaiah delivers a message of trust: if Ahaz will not stand firm in faith, he will not stand at all. T
