Genesis 2:2-3

²On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.b

³God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done.c

Genesis 2 shifts focus from the cosmic creation account to a more intimate, anthropocentric narrative, detailing the formation of humanity and the establishment of the Garden of Eden. It elaborates on the creation of Adam from the dust of the ground, the breath of life, and the divine command regarding the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
