27For this people’s heart has grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing. Their eyes they have closed. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, then I would heal them.’d
Acts 28 brings the book to its dramatic close. Paul arrives in Rome after a harrowing shipwreck on Malta, where he heals the islanders and is treated with honor. Once in Rome, he is placed under house arrest but continues to preach the kingdom of God and teach about the Lord Jesu
