⁴³But he replied, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent.”o

Luke 4 opens with Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, a direct confrontation with Satan that establishes the terms of his public ministry. Returning to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, Jesus announces his mission in the Nazareth synagogue by reading from Isaiah 61, declaring tha
