Isaiah 30:15

¹⁵This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it.c

Isaiah 30 is a courtroom scene and a love letter rolled into one. The chapter opens with God indicting Judah for making a military alliance with Egypt — a political move that bypassed Him entirely. Their trust in Pharaoh‘s horses and chariots is exposed as both foolish and faithl
