John 20:19

¹⁹On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”c

John 20 is the hinge of the entire Gospel — the resurrection of Jesus. It unfolds in four movements: the empty tomb discovered by Mary Magdalene, Peter and the beloved disciple running to see, Jesus appearing to Mary in the garden, and then two appearances to the disciples (with and
