Job 2:7

⁷So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.

Job 2 intensifies the drama of the heavenly courtroom. Satan returns from roaming the earth, and the Lord again points to Job as a blameless and upright man. Satan counters with a second accusation: a man will give anything for his own skin. Stripped of his health, Job is reduced to
