Leviticus 26:34-35

³⁴With you gone and dispersed in the countries of your enemies, the land, empty of you, will finally get a break and enjoy its Sabbath years.

³⁵All the time it''s left there empty, the land will get rest, the Sabbaths it never got when you lived there.

Leviticus 26 presents a powerful covenant summary, outlining the blessings for obedience and the curses for disobedience to God's commands. It details how faithfulness to the Mosaic Law would bring prosperity, peace, and God's presence among His people, while rebellion would lead to a devastating series of judgments, including famine, defeat by enemies, exile, and the desolation of the land.
