Jude 1:1-2

¹I, Jude, am a slave to Jesus Christ and brother to James, writing to those loved by God the Father, called and kept safe by Jesus Christ.a

²Relax, everything''s going to be all right; rest, everything''s coming together; open your hearts, love is on the way!b

Jude 1 is a fiery, urgent letter written to warn believers about false teachers who have crept into the church unnoticed. Jude, the brother of James and half-brother of Jesus, calls his readers to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. He draws heavily on Old Testament
