Daniel 4:34

³⁴Now therefore I Nebuchad-nezzar prayse and extoll and magnifie the King of heauen, whose workes are all trueth, and his wayes iudgement, and those that walke in pride, he is able to abase.

Daniel 4 records Nebuchadnezzar's own testimony of God's sovereign humbling of the proud. The king recounts a disturbing dream of a great tree cut down, which Daniel interprets as a warning: the king will lose his sanity and live like a beast until he acknowledges that the Most High
