27For the heart of this people is waxed fatte, and their eares are dull of hearing, and with their eyes haue they winked, least they shoulde see with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and vnderstand with their heartes, and should returne that I might heale them.d
Acts 28 brings the book to its dramatic close. Paul arrives in Rome after a harrowing shipwreck on Malta, where he heals the islanders and is treated with honor. Once in Rome, he is placed under house arrest but continues to preach the kingdom of God and teach about the Lord Jesu
