Romans 1:13

¹³I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.j

Romans 1 opens Paul's most systematic theological letter with a dense, electrifying introduction. Paul identifies himself as a servant and apostle set apart for the gospel of God, a gospel promised beforehand through the prophets in the Holy Scriptures. He declares his eagerness
