Mark 3:22

²²And the scribes who were come down from Jerusalem, said: He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of devils he casteth out devils.

Mark 3 intensifies the conflict surrounding Jesus’ ministry. He heals on the Sabbath, drawing the first explicit plot to kill him. Crowds press in, and Jesus appoints twelve apostles, a symbolic reconstitution of Israel. His family fears he is out of his mind, and scribes accuse him
