Luke 24:25-27

²⁵Then he said to them: O foolish, and slow of heart to believe in all things which the prophets have spoken.

²⁶Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and so to enter into his glory?d

²⁷And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures, the things that were concerning him.e

Luke 24 is the resurrection chapter that turns the world upside down. It opens with women at an empty tomb, moves through a bewildering walk to Emmaus, and culminates in Jesus appearing to his gathered disciples. Luke weaves together bewilderment, recognition, and commissioning.
