23And not finding his body, came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who say that he is alive.
Luke 24 is the resurrection chapter that turns the world upside down. It opens with women at an empty tomb, moves through a bewildering walk to Emmaus, and culminates in Jesus appearing to his gathered disciples. Luke weaves together bewilderment, recognition, and commissioning.
