Luke 10:6

⁶And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you.

Luke 10 pivots from the mission of the seventy-two to the defining question of eternal life. Jesus sends out disciples with urgency and vulnerability, then receives them back with joy. The chapter’s centerpiece is the parable of the Good Samaritan, which redefines “neighbor” beyond
