John 19:14-15

¹⁴And it was the parasceve of the pasch, about the sixth hour, and he saith to the Jews: Behold your king.

¹⁵But they cried out: Away with him; away with him; crucify him. Pilate saith to them: Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered: We have no king but Caesar.

John 19 presents the climax of the Gospel: the crucifixion, death, and burial of Jesus Christ. The chapter moves from Pilate's judgment hall to Golgotha, where Jesus is crucified between two others, and finally to the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. John's account is marked by a profou
