Job 34:11

¹¹For he will render to a man his work, and according to the ways of every one he will reward them.b

In Job 34, Elihu continues his speech, now directly addressing Job's claim that God has denied him justice. Elihu argues with escalating intensity that God, as the sovereign Judge of the earth, cannot possibly do wrong. He insists that Job's suffering must be a direct consequence of
