James 3:1

¹Be ye not many masters, my brethren, knowing that you receive the greater judgment.a

James 3 confronts the power of the tongue and the nature of true wisdom. James warns that the tongue, though small, can cause immense destruction, like a fire or a restless evil. He contrasts this with the wisdom from above, which is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy. The chapter c
