Luke 13:7

⁷εἶπε δὲ πρὸς τὸν ἀμπελουργόν· ἰδοὺ τρία ἔτη ἔρχομαι ζητῶν καρπὸν ἐν τῇ συκῇ ταύτῃ, καὶ οὐχ εὑρίσκω· ἔκκοψον αὐτήν· ἱνατί καὶ τὴν γῆν καταργεῖ;c

Luke 13 pivots sharply from the comfort of kingdom teaching to the urgency of repentance. Jesus confronts the assumption that tragedy signals divine punishment, calls a crippled woman daughter of Abraham on the Sabbath, and warns that the kingdom comes like yeast or a mustard see
