James 5:1-2

¹Ngayon, lumapit kayo mga mayayaman, umiyak kayo ng malakas dahil sa kahirapan na darating sa inyo.a

²Ang inyong mga kayamanan ay nabubulok at ang inyong mga kasuotan ay kinakain ng anay.b

James 5 brings the letter to a powerful close with three movements: a stern warning to the wealthy who oppress the poor, a call to patient endurance until the Lord's return, and instructions for prayer and community care. The chapter pivots from judgment to hope, from the arrogance
