Numbers 24:17-18

¹⁷אראנו ולא עתה אשורנו ולא קרוב דרך כוכב מיעקב וקם שבט מישראל ומחץ פאתי מואב וקרקר כל בני שת:b

¹⁸והיה אדום ירשה והיה ירשה שעיר איביו וישראל עשה חיל:

In **Numbers 24**, Balaam, despite Balak's persistent attempts to curse Israel, finds himself compelled by the Spirit of God to bless them once again, delivering four profound oracles. These prophecies not only affirm God's unwavering commitment to His people but also look forward to the coming of a powerful king from Israel, a “star” and “scepter” who will conquer its enemies.
