Luke 12:15

¹⁵And he said to them, Take care to keep yourselves free from the desire for property; for a man's life is not made up of the number of things which he has.j

Luke 12 is a dense collection of Jesus’ teaching on the priority of the kingdom over earthly anxiety. He warns the disciples against the leaven of the Pharisees (hypocrisy), calls them to fearless confession, and tells the parable of the rich fool who stores up treasure for himself
