Numbers 11:15

¹⁵And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favor in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

Numbers 11 records Israel's persistent grumbling and God's response. The people complain about their hardship and then about their diet, longing for the food of Egypt. This provokes God's anger, leading to a plague and a miraculous provision of quail. Moses, overwhelmed by the burden of leadership, cries out to God, who then empowers seventy elders with His Spirit to share the load. The chapter vividly portrays the tension between God's faithfulness and Israel's faithlessness, highlighting the heavy cost of discontent and the graciousness of divine provision and leadership.
