Romans 9:8-9

⁸That is to say, not they that are the children of the flesh, are the children of God; buy they, that are the children of the promise, are accounted for the seed.f

Romans 9 is one of the most theologically charged chapters in the New Testament. Paul, having spent eight chapters laying out the gospel of justification by faith alone, now turns to the anguishing question of why most of his fellow Jews have rejected their own Messiah. He does n
