Proverbs 7:18-20

¹⁸Come, let us be inebriated with the breasts, and let us enjoy the desired embraces, till the day appear.

¹⁹For my husband is not at home, he is gone a very long journey.

²⁰He took with him a bag of money: he mill return home the day of the full moon.

Proverbs 7 is a father's urgent warning against adultery, personified as the seductive “forbidden woman.” The chapter opens with a plea to treasure wisdom as a safeguard, then shifts into a vivid narrative: a young man lacking sense wanders near her corner at dusk, and she ensnares him with flattery
