Hebrews 13:17

¹⁷Obey your prelates, and be subject to them. For they watch as being to render an account of your souls; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief. For this is not expedient for you.p

Hebrews 13 closes the letter with a series of practical exhortations that flow directly from the theological argument of the previous twelve chapters. The writer calls for brotherly love, hospitality, care for prisoners, sexual purity, freedom from the love of money, and respect for
