²⁹ויהי בשחת אלהים את ערי הככר ויזכר אלהים את אברהם וישלח את לוט מתוך ההפכה בהפך את הערים אשר ישב בהן לוט:

Genesis 19 recounts the catastrophic destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, two cities notorious for their wickedness. It details Lot's reluctant hospitality to two angelic visitors, the depravity of the city's men who demand sexual access to the angels, and God's subsequent judgment.
